The International Commission for the Protection of the Alps (CIPRA) is looking for good practice examples of unsealing and soil improvement measures. Be it the conversion of car parks into green spaces, the revitalisation of soils to promote biodiversity, the elimination of heat islands, the restoration of water-permeable surfaces or the creation of recreational spaces.
Until November 2024, the competition is still looking for examples from urban and peri-urban areas in different countries, of different sizes and with different stakeholders.
