The members of ELSA are basis and core of the network. In some countries they are also supported by the national coordination unit. The European agency, coordinating the network, is settled in Osnabrück (D).
Once a year the members get together for the general meeting, taking place in changing locations (usually in course of the annual conference). In this meeting the activity report for the past year is presented and scheduled activities and projects are discussed and resolved. Currently the Soil Alliance has 230 members. Over 10 million people live in Soil Alliance communities.
Every two years the members elect the executive committee from among their own ranks. The executive committee can consist of at least five but not more than fifteen people. The board meets up about 3 times a year to exchange information about running activities and to improve the network. more...
